The Doodle Gang is a small, family-owned dog breeder located in Asheville, NC. We specialize in Mini Goldendoodle, Mini Bernedoodle, and Maltipoo puppies that are raised in our home environment and are socialized with children, adults and other animals. We take great pride in providing the highest quality pups with the best possible temperaments.

Kim Mathieu

  My name is Kim Mathieu and I am a wife and homeschool mother of four.  After graduating from college with a Bachelor’s degree in Education, I became a teacher in the public school system.  After having my own children, I decided to put my love of teaching and learning along with the skills I had learned along the way and turn to homeschooling.  This precious time with my kids allowed us to each explore the many levels of education.

  Personally, I have always had a desire to breed, but never wanted to begin something without the right educational background, so I began learning once again. This time, with my family by my side.  We believe that teaching and learning go hand in hand and we apply this concept to our breeding program. Our breeding practices are designed to create the healthiest and happiest puppies, and we use our educational background to ensure that our puppies are well-socialized and have a solid foundation for learning.

  Each puppy is raised in our home from the moment of birth to the day they leave with their forever families. When you purchase from The Doodle Gang, you’re not just getting a puppy, you’re getting a loyal companion and a part of the family.

Pricing & Deposits

Pricing: 

At The Doodle Gang, we believe every family deserves the joy of a well-raised, loving puppy—regardless of their budget. That’s why our breeding program is designed to offer a range of quality puppies at different price points. We selectively breed a few of our favorite breeds, each raised with the same level of love, care, and early training in our home. While our average puppy price is around $1,450, prices can range from $850 to $2,000 depending on the breed, color, and sex. This flexibility allows us to help more families—from all walks of life—find their future best friend.

Deposits:

A $500 non-refundable deposit is all that is required to either secure a specific puppy, or to place you on the waiting list .  The order the deposits are received is the order in which you are in line to choose your specific puppy.  

I always like to talk with my potential families to ensure clear communication prior to taking any deposits.  Once we have determined that you would like to move forward, and all questions are answered, you can submit your deposit via Cash, Venmo or Check. (Spot is secured once check has cleared) 

If you change your mind about a puppy from the litter in which you paid your deposit, I will be happy to hold the deposit and place it towards a different, upcoming litter. 

The remaining balance is due when the puppy reaches 6 weeks of age.
